As The Poets Affirm - Instrumental Perfection

Don't let this lazy post in anyway reflect the brilliance of this 7-piece ensemble from Ottawa, Ontario.

Normally, I don't really get into instrumental music sans the vocals, but I'm making an exception with As The Poets Affirm.

This would have been perfect for those late med school cram study sessions a few years back. Also a great listen when chilling out.

You can read the multiple local reviews about the group here.

The group is pretty generous with the complimentary MP3s off their website. These are all great tracks. Dig the Sufjan Stevens-esque titles.

From 'The Jaws that Bite, The Claws that Catch' (2004)

This is indie instrumental at its best. I think these guys would be perfect for a collaboration with talents like Thom Yorke or Cat Power.

Buy i want to tell my heart to you.but i cannot say English and The Jaws that Bite, The Claws that Catch from Emusic.
